On Top of the World

This is a picture of my husband. He’s a big fan of car racing, so for his birthday last year I thought he might like the chance to drive a V8 supercar. At the time I got the present, it wasn’t possible to do it in our home state, so we went to Sydney for it. He looked so cute in his helmet!

This week’s theme was quite a challenge for me - I had no idea what to post! I eventually settled on this picture that I took when I went for a walk in a nearby national park. The park has a few trails mapped out, and I’d decided that I wanted to try a slightly more challenging one than I’d done in the past. The one I chose had an initial uphill climb of 700 metres, which was more than enough to get my heart going! I was thoroughly relieved when I reached the plateau.

During the walk, I came to this sign. So, rather than being lost this week, it’s more a case of preventing the possibility of being lost…

Since I don’t have any children, the obvious choice for me for this week’s theme pointed towards a picture of one of my cats having a snooze, but then I thought of this one:

We found him/her in a tree in our front garden when we got home from work one day and couldn’t resist taking some photos.
