I’m going a bit nuts with eBay again. It’s a sickness, I tell you! After this weekend I’m going to stop though. Well, for a while at least. The reason I say ‘this weekend’ is because that’s when the last thing that I’m bidding on finishes. There are a couple finishing tonight, so I’ll see how I go on those.
M took his car to be looked at today, and we got a loan car. And it has a TV in it! Cool! Unfortunately we couldn’t watch it while the car was moving (something about ’safety’ - pffft), but while we were stationary (which was quite a lot since it was peak hour), we watched The Price is Right. And while we were moving we could listen to it! It was quite cool
My car’s stuffed again. Funny, I think that’s how I started the last post I wrote about my car not working. So I had to get it towed again last night, yada yada yada. Hopefully they’re actually going to fix it this time. I should be picking it up tomorrow.
I’m so buggered that I’m tempted to go to bed now, and it’s only 5 to 9. M and I didn’t get to leave work until 7:30, and since it’s our 18-month wedding anniversary today (which isn’t really an anniversary but whatever!), we thought we’d go out for dinner. So we went to a local pub, which has quite nice food. So now that I’ve eaten too much, I need to sleep it off. I can barely stay awake to type this.
I start back at tafe next week - the Christmas holidays always go so quickly. I was getting quite used to not going. But it will be fun, and hopefully this year I’ll start to see some improvement in my signing. It would be nice if I could get a bit more involved in the Deaf community as well - no idea how though. It seems pointless to study Auslan and then only use it when I’m in class. Although a friend of mine from class and I got together every week during the holidays to practice. It got to the point where it was weird to hear her talk, because I was so used to just signing with her. Even when we’re having a ‘talking’ catchup, we often just start signing anyway.
