Today started off with a fab breakfast at Henley Square. I had pancakes with maple syrup, cream and strawberries, and two hot chocolates. Yum! My list of places that serve good hot chocolate is getting longer, which is a relief - for a while I thought that they were few and far between.

After breakfast, Matthew and I went to Harbourtown, in the hope of finding a beanie, and some new work shoes. We couldn’t find the beanie anywhere, and didn’t find any shoes either. I tried on some Diana Ferrari boots, which looked really nice on the display, and were made of a really cool stretchy material, but they looked crap on - they seemed to double the length of my foot. Maybe I’m just not used to that style. I was really disappointed - I was getting quite attached to the material! Oh well, off to town tomorrow to find some.

The good part of the trip is that I ended up with a new handbag. I’m really pleased with it - it has a mobile phone pocket which my phone fits into perfectly, and a couple of pen holders, as well as a few separate compartments. It was fun loading all my old stuff into it!

We didn’t stay there very long, because it was bloody freezing! And it was raining intermittently, so it wasn’t very pleasant being outside. If they’d covered it over, they’d have a lot more people going there in poorer weather.
