I’m considering changing the name of my blog. I go for ages without posting, and when I do it’s to have a bitch about how much my teeth hurt. Boo hoo, poor me. Sheesh, get a grip, woman!
Having said that, my teeth hurt! I got a sandwich for lunch today, and it took me 25 minutes to eat it. Pain really takes all the fun out of eating. Dinner was much better though - I bought some soups from the supermarket on the way home, and I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that the one I chose for this evening’s meal was actually pretty good! So, if you’re finding it difficult to chew, I can recommend the Big’n Chunky Butter Chicken Curry Soup from Heinz. At least, I can recommend it until I eat it once too often and become completely sick of it. But for now, it still gets the thumbs up from me.
And for dessert, I got some Creme Caramel. At least that’s sort of solid.

creme caramel????
oh one of my absolute faves… if you go to Cha Chi’s you can have flan de queso for entree main and dessert… with a margarita of course

Yeah, like a creme brulee but without the brulee part
It’s a custardy sort of thing, with a sweet caramel sauce over the top. It was only from the supermarket, so it’s not fantastic, but it’s still quite nice!
I’m going to Cha-Chi’s on Wednesday possibly, so I’ll try to leave room

Yes I know the ones, like I said, my favourite!! I used to go to cha chi’s just so I could order flan de queso as soon as I found out it was creme caramel … more years ago than I care to admit…
speaking of which, I made chicken fajitahs last night (minus the chicken for me) - yum! and I printed out a voucher for Zapata’s to make sure I go there soon.. yummmmmmmm!!

Oh sorry! I thought from your question that you didn’t know what it was. I didn’t know that that was what the flan de queso was! I’ll definitely be ordering one tomorrow
I don’t know whether you’ve been there recently but they’ve done renovations and I think a couple of changes to their menu. I think they still have the same desserts, though, so there’s no need for panic on that front

oh yeah baby, I’ve been there lately!!! wooo and yes it’s still on the menu, not much of the menu has changed - is it an all you can eat night on wed?
hehehhee!!
The decor is the same, and the same leaves are piled up on the front verandah thingie too under the vines..
What about Zapata’s? been there lately?
I have managed to broaden P’s dietary likes to now include Mexican and Indian, man it was hard work, but so worth it

PS - I know I wrote that first comment weirdly, I’m afraid I do that A LOT! but that’s because I’m weird and proud of it

No, it’s Mondays and Tuesdays for all you can eat now. But I’m so ridiculously full now! I didn’t have room for dessert
I’ll definitely make sure to have it soon, though - maybe we can do that sometime as well
I’ve been to Zapata’s recentlyish, maybe in the last few months? They’ve got a really nice dessert there as well, but I can’t remember what it’s called. If you’re feeling comfortable food-wise, DON’T order one! It’s like a big puffy, crispy pancake with cinnamon and sugar on it, with ice cream. It’s so yummy, but afterwards we both felt sick!

Mmmmm indeed! One of those with a coffee would be perfect, but if I’m at Zapata’s anyway, how could I say no to an enchilada
