Ah well. I can understand the sucking action of smoking being a problem though - the day after the extraction, I was making myself a sandwich and I got some butter on my finger and I unwittingly sucked it off, which hurt a bit, even though it was quite light. I don't know how smokers could keep smoking with that sort of pain! Thanks, although as you can see, I didn’t do so well with the spacers! Ah well. Not being a smoker helps immensely with the extractions - what I recently found out is why - it's the suction on the fag that breaks open the newly formed scab... well I never! :-) Hence P had many dental returns after all his extractions :-) Missfee, pardon me butting in, but in all the wide wide world of wrongness - enjoying dental latex rummaging has to be right up there with the wrongiest - wow! Long story short, going through it leads to a new life on the other side, and I'm sure you'll be happy with the outcome.
