I couldn’t resist posting this photo - the best pancakes I’ve ever had (until we discovered this recipe), which I had in Galway, Ireland. I had them both mornings I was there, and they were so good that when we checked out of the hotel, I asked the guy at the reception desk to give our compliments to the chef!
By the way, the recipe in the link makes pancakes very similar to the Irish ones, so if you like pancakes, give it a try!

They look delicious. I make a buttermilk pancake that my family loves but I always love to find new ones. Thanks for the recipe!
Have a wonderful weekend.

The best pancakes of my life I have eaten at my aunts place in Madison/Wisc. They were so good ! With marple syrop hmm. Here in Europe I have them eaten too, but it’s not the same.

My husband and I have pancake wars because he likes them big and fluffy and I prefer them thinner and crispy around the edges. I am thinking that I would like those Irish pancakes. (Now I am so craving pancakes — a drawback of having “food” for a theme.)
My post is up.
