Ok, so I don’t know that Jenny & M are actually home yet but they’ll be home soon so I thought I would take this time to bid everyone a fond farewell since my time here is up. I had fun guest posting and will knock on Jenny’s blogdoor when I need someone to do the same for me.
But I still have one more post left in me:
Ah, Thursday night drinks… always fun! We found a new bar in Hell’s Kitchen called The Joshua Tree Bar (Westside). It was very nice but I noticed that the happy hour crowd was a little later arriving than, say, the bar across the street from my work. And to be quite honest, I missed my usual bartender, Rich. He’s so friendly and he always gives us discounts on drinks and sneaks us free food. Unfortunately, Thursday night dinners usually include whatever food that particular bar offers. Last night, I had calamari, mozzarella sticks and onion rings - yes, onion rings. I’m married, I have no one to impress.
Right, well, I hope everyone has a wonderful & safe Halloween! And don’t forget that it’s sometimes fun to trick as well as treat…

That’s a lot of fried goodies–I’m a sucker for fried food. And ribs. Baby back ribs. Man, haven’t had dinner yet, gotta go.

I don’t normally eat a lot of fried foods, but I do love them!

Ah! Missfee, is it your 1st time to NYC? Stella Osteria on 50th at 7th Avenue is a great place and is really hopping on Thursday evenings. Drop me a line if you need some recommendations on places to go. Have a great time!
