Last night on the way home from work we bought a new scratching post for the cats. They took to it quite well! Of course I took some photos, so if you want to have a look at the album, click here. But if you can’t be bothered, here’s one of Jack showing his appreciation.

Awwww I love grey cats, why we’ve ended up with 2 tabbys and a black/white one is beyond me lol. We used to make scratching posts for cats and sell them on Ebay or the local market place. They were great with little cat bungalows with their very own steps and 3 ledges. We sold quite a few too!

When he was a kitten he didn’t claw it much, but slept inside it quite a lot, but now he’s living here, he and Frisky use it a lot.
Mandy: That’s a good idea! They’re so expensive in the shops, it would be good to get homemade ones a little cheaper. I think our cats are a bit too big to fit into the little holes they have though - I’d have to get one custom made
