Hooray for the weekend. I was looking forward to sleeping in today, but ended up waking up at 8:45. Bummer!
I downloaded a trial version of a game for my PDA yesterday, and I’ve been playing it quite a lot. It’s a puzzle game, and there are a whole lot of flowers, and you have to match the petals to get rid of them. It’s a cute game, but the petals look more like testicles to me than petals, especially when there are only two petals left on the flower.
The World Poker Tour is on again tonight. Yeah! It’s one of those things where you wonder why on earth it would be televised, but after you watch it for a while you get hooked. I know nothing about poker, and when they show the popup to explain a term that the commentators used, often it disappears before I’ve had time to read it properly. Grrr!

8.45am is a lie in! LOL I’m usually awake between 6.00 - 7.00am. If I could stay asleep till 8.45 everyday I’d be in heaven

I did a little better - I slept in yesterday until 11 am! I felt so incredibly lazy. I’ve heard a lot of people saying how much they love watching poker on TV but I haven’t watched yet. Glad to see you back posting!

hee hee, testicles! Sounds like a fun game–the kind I like, with no long-ass storylines or complicated missions. Speaking of games, I got the Simpsons Hit & Run video game for our Gamecube this past weekend, can’t wait to play it! I loved their other driving game, Road Rage, so this should also be a hoot.

during the week i could sleep forever, but have to get up. on the weekends when i can sleep in i always wake up early…grrrr…i just downloaded Operation onto my phone…it’s hilarious…but obviously not as good as the real game.

Mandy: Between 6 and 7? Even when you don’t have to? Bummer! When I do get up early it’s good because I feel like I’m getting so much done during the day, and it’s good to enjoy the morning, but I don’t do it very often
Yaya: Nice work! I’m impressed. I managed to do better on Sunday, sleeping in until after 10, so I didn’t feel so ripped off any more. As for poker, I have no idea how to play, but I’m learning from the tv
Steph: Yep, spin the flowers, get rid of the petals, end of storyline! I can’t be bothered with the ones with huge intros about the characters etc. I like to get to the point! We have Hit & Run - it’s great!

I usually play games in private, or if I am playing one in public, I make sure it’s a stress-free one so I’m in control at all times!
