My cats are rather contrary - sometimes they can’t stand each other, and other times they’ll happily sniff all around each other without incident. It all depends on what mood they’re in. They have NEVER got along so well that they sleep cuddled up together (unfortunately - cats look so cute when they do that), but when M saw this , it was a rare enough occurrence that a photo was worthy.

Your cats look *a lot* like my cats. Not that either is unusual looking, but it’s interesting thatw e each have a grey cat and a black cat — can’t tell from this photo whether your grey is a Russian Blue and huge or not…
BTW I am having fun with your new skin. The various photos intrigue me since I’m working hard on learning to think of Austalia as “home”.

My cat is NOT huge! *sniff*
He just has big bones. Just because he’s not a more flattering colour like black! He’s not a Russian Blue as far as I know, although he does look a bit like one. He’s got a white patch on his chest, and I don’t think RBs do? I’m glad you like the photos!

I remember when we first had our 2 kittens. We already had an older cat and it took about 6 months for her (the older cat) to finally accept the little ones. She seems to tolerate them now, and seem to be more friendly when she ‘think’s’ I’m not looking.
Your cats are probably the same when you’re not around

Mandy: I think you’re right! When they fight, I think it’s just for show, since we leave them home alone together when we go to work, and they’re always in one piece when we get home
Yaya: It would have been cuter if they were both asleep - maybe they’re both a bit too wary.
Dawn: They never sleep that close together, so a photo like this is extremely rare

How cute! My cat will absolutely not tolerate any other animal, she becomes hellcat when ever an animal gets within 10 feet of her or me.

That’s close enough to be cute. Do they ever fight, or are they indifferent to each other?

Jessica: I’m glad my cats weren’t like that - there wouldn’t have been any hope for them!
Dawn: Usually it’s the black one who looks pissed off (especially in the photo I’ve got of her up the top of the page - I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet). And, no, the grey one doesn’t have a beard! It’s an unfortunately (or fortunately) placed bit of fluff that they’ve ripped off their clawing post!
Fash: They do fight sometimes, but the black one is a drama queen and makes an awful noise just for show

You don’t have 50 cats in your place, do you?

Great photo! So cute.
I have three cats. Two of them are brother and sister, so have been together forever. They play and sometimes playfight, but nothing serious. Every so often I catch them snuggled up on the couch together, side by side.
My third cat is an older female that I recently inherited. My male cat tolerates her but the two female cats still hiss and grumble at each other, even after living together for almost two years. Crazy cats.

Tania: Hi there! I wish my cats snuggled up together, it would be so sweet (after I picked my jaw up off the ground).
Dawn: M told me that it’s actually his paw and not a bit of fluff
