It’s not your ordinary Mitre 10 store
Today we went to Mitre 10 Mega. Yes, it really does have the word ‘mega’ in its name. Mitre 10 is a hardware store here, and M10M is, as you’ve probably guessed, a much-bigger-than-usual Mitre 10 store. Whether it really earns the title of ‘mega’ I’m not sure, but it is quite big, and has lots of stuff. It certainly seemed quite big when I was walking around trying to find a toilet. Note to self: make sure you know where the facilities are before you really need to use them.
It’s been quite weird weather-wise today (gotta love that alliteration). It was sunny, then a bit overcast, then pissing down with rain, and then sunny again. The good thing is that my car got a nice wash (although it’s dried now and looks dusty and yucky again). M10M has an underground carpark, and I must say that my car, all purple and glistening with the raindrops on it, looked pretty damn cool! Mmmm. ![]()

we’ve been to M10M and while it’s quite big, I still couldn’t find something that I later found with no problems at the local Bunnings. The staff at M10M were a bit too keen as well!

I imagine your M10M is like our Home Depot - a DIYer’s dream!

oooh careful, remember what happened the last time you said ‘toilet’ in your blog
I’m not much of a handyman, the only time I visited a store like M10 was when I had to buy jumper leads for the car.

Dida: I guess they were eager to establish themselves as a friendly hardware store!
Yaya: Sounds like it! They certainly had heaps of stuff.
Kunaal: Heh heh
I’m not much of a handyperson either, but M does quite a lot of stuff himself.

How did your car get wet in the underground car park? I suppose you mean it got wet before hand.
And hey- if you’re in a home improvement store, you could just use one of the many toilets they sell and have on display- though you could never go back to the store again ^_^

Yes, it was raining before I parked my car. Hey, good idea re the toilets! Of course, display homes are also good for that purpose
