I am suffering from indifference and lack of motivation. There have been occasions this week where stuff has happened that I thought I could blog about, but the words just haven’t come, and I don’t feel like trying to find them. Maybe it’s the weather - it’s stinking hot here at the moment and the study is the hottest room in my house. I don’t know. There’s meant to be a cool change in the middle of next week, so maybe there’ll be a sharp increase in posting frequency around Wednesday.
I just thought I should post something. I don’t know why.

I’m glad you posted, too! I’m with JustAGirl - I’ll swap with you too if you’d like. It’s hat, scarf & glove weather here. It’ll be snowing before long.

It’s good to check in every once in a while and let us know you’re still alive… =D It’s 30 degrees here. I’m jealous.

Hey!! I understand your lack of motivation. I just hope you’ll be back to blogging again soon! As for the weather, I think we should just switch for a few days. I’m freezing here! lol

JaG: Ummm… no
You’re welcome to your cold weather
Yaya: No, that’s fine! Although I would like to live somewhere with snow for a while! I guess the novelty would wear off quickly though.
Saphiryn: Thankyou - you too!
JR: Pipped you at the post! I forget that sometimes, too - especially on TV when they’re talking about summer. When someone mentions summer, I automatically think Dec/Jan/Feb, and then remember that they’re not referring to those months at all.
Dawn: Brr! I used to prefer being cold over being hot, but I’ve changed my mind. If you’re freezing and there’s no way of fixing it, it really sucks. Somehow being too hot isn’t so bad.
Queen Mo: Ha ha, you’re all cold, and it’s nice and warm here! Well, I don’t know about the ‘nice’ bit. I’ll think of you all when I’m soaking up some Vitamin D

I hate heat and I am also feeling rather indifferent right now. How a girl used to snow, ice, and a steady bit of rain ended up in Las Vegas, where it can far surpass 40 degrees, I would love to know. UGH! It isn’t the quantity of the posting, but the quality. I can’t stand going to some of my friends’ blogs to find an abundance of quizzes. Enjoy the time off and come back when you are ready….we’ll be waiting! =)

You might be surprised at how much fun snow is.
Rod had four summers in a row, visiting me in Michigan all summer and then going back to Adelaide in time for … summer!
By the time he moved here, he could hardly wait to experience snow — and after three years, he still cackles like a goose when it starts to snow. He loves it!
We did have to rent a garage space, though — as he said “Scraping snow off the car before work is amusing the first time, less so the second time, and after that it’s a pain in the arse!”
Sending cool thoughts your way!

Thanks for all your good wishes, guys, and sorry it’s taken me so long to reply to this thread! Usually I try to reply to people’s comments, and I feel really bad that I didn’t do it properly this time. But thanks again for being so wonderful and supportive
