I’m still here, I was just taking a bit of a blog break. And rather than just write crap when I don’t really have anything to say, as is my usual wont, I thought I’d just wait until something came up to blog about. Not that anything has, but I saw that a couple of people have been asking if I’m ok, so I thought I’d check in and say that everything’s fine! Thankyou for asking
I got stuck behind the slowest driver in the world yesterday when I was coming home from work. Geez - use some gas! And he was driving with one hand on the top of the wheel, and his free arm hanging outside the window, resting downwards on the outside of the door. People who drive in this configuration are tossers. You don’t look cool. If you’re reading this and are thinking ‘hey, I do that!’, then I’m sorry to be the one to break it to you, but you’re a tosser. Despite it being illegal (here at least) to have any part of you outside the vehicle, and quite dangerous (for you - see? Don’t tell me I don’t look out for you) in the event of an accident, it just makes you look like a tool. Especially when you’re driving a piece of junk that doesn’t have a hope in hell of looking cool. Besides, if you’re driving a cool car, why ruin the sexy lines by draping a hairy arm over it? Ugh. All body parts inside the car at all times, please.

How about when people dangle their feet out the window?
Ewwwwww.

Dangling the feet?? Well, that’s just irresponsible, especially when it’s the driver! A real test of talent though!

I agree, not a cool look. I don’t always drive with 2 hands on the wheel. If you are on a highway and there’s not much traffic, it’s not really necessary, assuming there aren’t many curves in the road. Though I only use my car maybe every week and a half or so

I’m definitely not a tosser. Coz I don’t drive!

I don’t think we have a law here about that. If we did, I would of been ticked many of times. So, does this make me a bad driver ??
Have a great weekend !!

what if you have your head hanging out the window, because you like to pant into the breeze?
wait.. …that’s my dog, not me. Are you only a tosser if you’re the driver? Can a passenger hang parts out the window and retain their non-tossery status? Who is sponsoring the research behind this observation? I’m just askin’?

Dawn: I agree - ewwwwww!
Pete: Indeed! I see plenty of passengers resting their feet on the dashboard - derr.
JR: True, sometimes it may not be necessary, but it’s good to know that you have complete control of the wheel if something unexpected comes up.
Saphiryn: You are indeed exempt!
Dawn: Not a bad driver necessarily, but you could be in a bit of strife if you have a crash and your arm’s hanging out the window! It happened to a friend of my mum’s - not a pleasant experience.
Sam: Suuure, Sam, ‘your dog’
I think most of the tossery status goes to the driver, because they’re trying to drive in a ‘cool’ way, which just doesn’t work. The passengers who do it are just stupid. I’ve actually formed my own R&D company to look into it - investors welcome

What about passengers that surf the wind with their hand? I’ve seen that.

That guy does sounds like a total “tosser.” What I also hate are people in expensive sports cars who drive too slow! It incenses me to no end! They’re usually on the old side, because old people are the ones who can usually afford more expensive cars, but by the time they get one, they can’t drive anymore! It’s one of those cruel jokes that life like to play on you.

Welcome back! Breaks are good, but idiots in bad cars are not.

It cracks me up when people drive like that, they think they look real cool. However it is perfectly legal over here. Glad your back.

Yeah, it is pretty funny, how these guys think they are looking cool, while they are completely embarassing themselves!
