As I suspected, the dealer didn’t find anything wrong with my car. They said their electrician has looked at everything there is to look at, but can’t find a problem. So I’ll probably be picking it up tomorrow. It had better work - for a long time!
In other news, we were meant to have new credit cards sent out, but they never showed up, so we had to get them cancelled. Unfortunately, the bank also cancelled our current cards, so we have no credit until - *gasp* - next week, when we pick up our new cards. Arrrggghhh! Luckily I have another credit card that we can use if we really have to, otherwise we’ll have to go the branch if we need to get money out, since we won’t be able to use the ATM. What a royal pain in the bum. Good one, stupid bank.

long live red tape and beaurocrats
By the way, I just noticed you put up a ‘Things I like’ and ‘Things I Piss me off’ link in your ’sidebar’…..haven’t read through them completely but…..the first one in the piss me off list, is spot on. Something about holding the knife that way is just wrong.

Hope everything will be fine with your car from now on!
I hate banks and the way they work! Once, they sent me my credit card almost one month after I had requested it.

I’m glad someone agrees with me about the knife thing
Thanks, QM - me too! Banks are just dodgy

Thanks, Jessica… it seemed ok on the way home - hopefully it stays that way.

You should have asked them if they hooked it up to a diagnostic computer to make sure there wasn’t some sort of short or glitch in the system. I had mechanics. They just rape you for what little service they provide.
