One good thing about being home sick is that the cats are absolutely loving me today - they get to go outside! Usually we only let them out at the weekend during the day, and they’re always inside at night. So they’re getting a bonus weekend day. Not that have any idea (or even care, for that matter) what day it is, all they know is that they’re allowed to go out.

It was nice when I was watching tv earlier to hear them come and go through the cat flap. They both come in at various intervals just to make contact, then they’re off again.
