I had a good day today - M and I drove to Hahndorf, where we had lunch at the Hahndorf Inn. We went to the German Arms, but it was booked out… again. We’ve tried going there 3 times for lunch, but each time it has been booked out. Oh well, we had schnitzel and it was super yummy!
We wandered around for a little while, but not too long because it was really cold. However, we stayed long enough to go into the sweet shop and buy a few things, including spuds. I love spuds!!
Afterwards we went to see my parents, and then did a little bit of car hunting. It’s a shame that most car yards have high fences now, since it meant we couldn’t have much of a look at the cars. Maybe next Saturday.
Later on in the day, I was getting into the car, and must have knocked my finger in exactly the wrong way, because the nail on my pinkie finger folded all the way back to under the white part and stayed there, so I had to unfold it. Umm… OOOWWWWWW!! It wasn’t so bad at the time I did it, but pretty soon after it started stinging quite a lot, and bleeding a bit under the nail. So now it hurts to type ‘a’s. Why is ‘a’ such a common letter! M;ybe I’ll h;ve to st;rt repl;cing them with something else… see, th;t w;s much e;sier to type. Except I actually had to remember to put a ‘;’ instead of an ‘a’. So, in reality, it wasn’t really that much easier at all. Less painful though. Ow.
