I have my phone! It arrived yesterday morning, so admittedly I wasn’t as productive at work as I could have been. I’m very happy with it - the screen is brilliant. In true me-style, I’ve already dropped it and put some scratches on the screen. I was pretty pissed off, but then I thought that it would have happened sometime, and I should just get over it. So now I love my phone again
Mmmm inanimate object.
I took some photos with it, but since I don’t have a USB cable yet, I can’t transfer them to my computer; I’ll buy one from eBay soon.

Hooray! Messages are good too… I miss my cuckoo noise I used to have - the closest I can get to it now is a doorbell. Still, not too bad

You can transfer SMS and ringtones as well. I got a PIN for 6 free ringtones or wallpapers or something with my phone, so I’ll have to have a look!

yay!! downloadable goodness!! at least it’s cheaper to download to your pc then port to your phone, (i think) rather than use mobile phone internet

It’d be handy to have bluetooth, but I can’t see myself using it too often, so a cable will be fine.

If you have bluetooth in the phone & possibly on the Sony Clie, it’s the greatest combination! I use bluetooth to transfer photos from my phone to palm to make more room on the phone. I also managed to find an USB Bluetooth adaptor which allows the transfer of everything in your phone to the PC & vice versa.
Of course, this little spiel is useless if either device doesn’t have bluetooth, but since you mentioned it, I thought I’d throw in my 2c.
Cheers!

Definitely handy, Pete, but neither of the devices have bluetooth
I didn’t think I’d use it that much, and for the price I didn’t really expect it. I’m just pleased I’ve got colour now!!

Bummer about bluetooth or lack thereof. I think you should sell both the clie & phone immediately & upgrade to the world of wireless!
Only kidding!!
Once you have a colour screen, you wonder how you ever survived monochrome. I had my new mobile delivered to work & yes, it does reduce the concentration levels somewhat. Even while you wait for it to charge, the manual becomes mighty interesting!!

Arrrggghh!!! I can’t upgrade yet! I don’t mind not having bluetooth, especially while I’m in the colour screen honeymoon period. Overall I’m quite happy with the phone. A few niggly things, but nothing major.
I agree about the monochrome screens - I turned on my m500 the other day to see what games I still had on there, and I couldn’t wait to get back to my clie!
